The location of SOTA has been chosen after considerable thought due to the number of children in the area with little or no opportunity and to cater to those whose need is the greatest. The significance of a social project such as SOTA in such areas cannot be overstated. Another reason for choosing this area was because the leaders were very warm, welcoming and appreciative of our idea and purpose, even though we were not acquainted with the neighbourhood or the leaders before. Last but not the least, with the help of a Catholic priest, we were able to find an affordable piece of land in the area to build and set up SOTA.
